Cleaning & Chlorination

Stonbury have been involved In cleaning and chlorinating service reservoirs, water tanks and water towers for over 28 years. This was initially as part of refurbishment schemes ensuring that at the end of the works the reservoir was ready to go back into service.

In more recent years we have been offering cleaning and chlorination as a stand alone service.

Many of our clients now call upon Stonbury to carry out their cleaning programmes or ask us to assist their own cleaning teams during periods of enhanced cleaning and inspection programmes.

We offer to carry out condition surveys whilst we are inside the reservoirs and prepare reports with specifications and costing's against remedial works that are identified.

These reports allow our clients to programme maintenance draindowns, outside of the cleaning cycle and to prepare their budgets for future maintenance schemes.

By utilising Stonbury for reservoir cleaning, our clients also have the advantage that our operatives are on hand to carry out any minor maintenance works deemed necessary to protect the quality of the stored potable water, ie sealing against ground water ingress through roof joints, cracks, hatch cover upstands and vents.
