Stonbury are a company committed to the principles of environmental sustainability and as such actively promote where ever possible sustainable options for the project undertaken. Stonbury are certificated ISO14001/2004 Environmental Management System and define sustainability in terms of:

• Minimise waste at every opportunity through recycling
• Minimising the use of energy
• Not to pollute the environment
• Preserve and enhance biodiversity
• Conserve use of natural resources
• Respect people and local environment

Stonbury score all our projects against the above criteria and communicate this score to our clients.

Stonbury are now able to calculate the carbon impact (both embodied and operational) of our schemes. We are able to do this at proposal stage to enable clients to make decisions based on carbon impact against their environmental strategies.
