Hygiene

National Water Hygiene Restricted Operations Card - ½ Day
Registered with Energy and Utility Skills

Successful candidates will be placed on the EUSR national database and receive the National Water Hygiene Restricted Operations Card. The registration scheme is for all persons working on restricted operations within the potable water environment.

£375 for ½ day max 10 persons at your location

Plus the current EUSR registration fee per candidate

First Aid

Appointed Person - 1 Day

Gives candidates a basic knowledge of first aid. Successful candidates receive a certificate valid for 3 years. This course does not qualify the candidate as a registered first aider under the HSE.

Fire

Fire Marshall/Warden - 1 Day

Gives candidates an overall understanding of the roll of a Fire Marshall/Warden. By the end of the course the candidate will be able to demonstrate their understanding of the fire triangle, evacuation and re-entry, dealing with special situations, and their role as a Fire Marshall/Warden.

Fire Awareness - ½ Day

Gives candidates a basic understanding of the causes of fire.

Manual Handling

Manual Handling - ½ Day

After this course, candidates will be able to demonstrate correct handling techniques, identify health problems resulting from poor manual handling, state what causes the problem and list what to check before moving an object.

Abrasive Wheels

Abrasive Wheel - ½ Day

This course involves both classroom and practical modules. Covering angle grinders fitted with either cutting or grinding wheels, bench grinders and cut off saws.

PASMA

Mobile Access Towers - 1 Day

Selection, erection and the dismantling of aluminium and plastic mobile scaffold towers. Successful candidates will be registered through PASMA and receive a certificate valid for three years.

IPAF

Independent Powered Access Platforms - 1 Day Per Machine Catagory

Full training in the set up and use of all categories of powered access platform are available, Scissor lifts and Cherry pickers etcetera. The course duration will normally be one day per category of machine. Successful candidates will be registered through IPAF and receive an IPAF Licence for the test they pass.

Harness Training

Harness Training

Training in the selection, care and use of fall arrest harnesses for all operatives working with powered access platforms.

RTITB

Counterbalance and Rough terrain Fork lift Truck Training - 1 to 5 Days

Courses are available for all levels of operative competency, from the re-testing and certification of experienced operatives lasting one day, to five day courses for beginners.
